Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the Association of Institutes of Serbia handles data in connection with the use of the website zis.ac.rs.

What data the website collects

This website is purely informative. It does not collect data about visitors: there is no behavioural tracking, no profiling, no forms for entering data and no visitor accounts.

The website does not call on any third-party service. All content, including fonts and images, is served from our own server.

Access logs

Like any web server, ours records technical data about access: IP address, time of access, requested address and browser type. These records serve security and troubleshooting, are not linked to any particular person and are kept for as long as that purpose requires. Log archives on our hosting account are deleted automatically, after two months at the latest. From the same records, the hosting provider automatically compiles visit statistics, such as the number of visits and the most requested pages. No cookies, or anything else in the visitor’s browser, are used for this.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the website operating correctly and securely.

If you write to us

If you contact us by e-mail, we keep your message and the sender’s address for as long as necessary to resolve the matter, and after that in accordance with the regulations on records management.

Your rights

Under the Law on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to access your data, to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, and the right to object, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
